Study permit application myths

Study permit application Nigerian myths demystified:

Caveat - based on personal experience - Do your due diligence.

1. You have to rent a house in the country hosting your school to show how serious you are to immigration officers.
I did not (what if you are refused? how will you collect your rent back?)

2. You have to pay your full international grad school tuition before applying for a study permit.
I did not, however, if the school requires this, you can discuss a payment plan with them
