Be anxious for nothing, but pray
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” - Joshua 1:9:

Peace I leave with thee |
It's year end and the pressure could be on. Pressure for the new year. Pressure for Christmas giftings and the funds to do the same. Pressures! In different forms and sizes. In times of anxiety, I go to my favourite scripture in Philippians 4.6-7, which says:
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus”
If God can feed the birds of the air, they have no plans, they just fly around and are taken care of, God can take care of you. I added a few scriptures below to help you through this time. Cast ALL your cares on God, he's got you.
“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you, not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid” - John 14:27
“Cast your burden on the Lord, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved” - Psalm 55:22
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths” - Proverbs 3:5
“I will both lie down in peace, and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety” - Psalm 4:8
"For God has not given us a spirit of fear but a spirit of power, of love and of a sound mind" - 2 Timothy 1:7
Meditate on these today. Let the peace of God that passes all human understanding guard your heart and mind.
"For he has said, I will never leave you, neither will I forsake you. So we that we may boldly say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?” - Hebrews 13:5b -6:
As I wrap up - for that situation you are in, may I ask, whose report will you believe? Remember, God's report about you is good and perfect. 3 John 2 King James Version says, Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. Be careful for nothing, fear will only paralyze you; switch to faith. God has your back.
